Shareholder John Thies Appointed to Illinois Judicial Conference Task Force

By approval of the Illinois Supreme Court, Shareholder John Thies has been appointed to one of the task forces of the Illinois Judicial Conference charged with implementing the Conference’s Strategic Agenda – a blueprint for the future of the Illinois judicial branch over a three year period. The particular task force (Public Relations) is chaired by Cook County Circuit Judge Celia Gamrath, and Vice Chaired by 5th District Appellate Court Justice David Overstreet. It has been charged with the strategic initiative of increasing the public’s understanding of and confidence in the judicial branch of Illinois government. Other task force members include: 4th District Appellate Court Justice Lisa Holder White, Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism Communications Director Laura Bagby, 1st District Appellate Court Justice David Ellis, Rock Island County Circuit Clerk Tammy Weikert, Illinois Judges Association President Hon. Margaret Mullen (ret.), 15th Circuit Trial Court Administrator LeAnn Brandenburg, and Illinois Supreme Court Director of Communications Chris Bonjean.
