Ms. Hernandez practices in the areas of estate and trust administration, guardianships and business representation.

Prior to joining Webber & Thies, Ms. Hernandez was an associate at firms in San Francisco and San Diego, where she concentrated on product liability and tort litigation and then insurance coverage litigation. During law school, Ms. Hernandez was a member of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform.

  • She currently serves as a member of the ISBA’s Trusts and Estates Section Council and the Elder Law Section Council. Ms. Hernandez is a Co-Editor of Trusts and Estates newsletter.

Five Things Most People Don’t Know About Mia

1Mia studied abroad in Siena and Padua, Italy during college.

2Mia’s first job after college was a Commercial Service Intern at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden.

3During college at Cornell University, Mia played Varsity Women’s Soccer. She continues to enjoy kicking the ball around with her two children, trying not to injure herself now.

4Mia spent her childhood boating, deep-sea fishing, camping, horseback riding, and swimming in the Pacific Ocean and in lakes.

5Growing up, Mia traveled quite a bit, particularly to visit her mother’s family in Sweden every few years.
