Webber & Thies Shareholder John Thies spoke at the June 19 installation of new Illinois State Bar Association president, Dennis J. Orsey. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ceremony took place at the Illinois Supreme Court rather than the usual ISBA Annual Meeting. Thies served as ISBA president from 2012-13. In the picture above, Thies is addressing those assembled, including Supreme Court Justices Rita B. Garman and Lloyd A. Karmeier, as well as those accessing the ceremony remotely.
