The University of Illinois College of Law hosted a panel presentation on October 3, 2023 on the “Illinois Court’s Strategic Agenda.” The Illinois Judicial Branch has established a Strategic Agenda and is working with the bench and bar to ensure our court system is the model of integrity and accountability. Members of the “Public Education and Engagement Task Force” presented to current law students the intricacies of our system of justice, and how our Supreme Court works collaboratively with its partners to achieve and maintain the highest standards of performance. Shareholder, John Thies, joined David K. Overstreet (Justice, Illinois Supreme Court 5th District), Ronda D. Holliman (Associate Judge, Champaign County Circuit Court) and Laura Bagby (Communications Director, Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism) on the panel.
