John Thies Installed as New President of Kiwanis Club of Champaign-Urbana

On October 7, 2021, Shareholder John Thies was installed as President of the Kiwanis Club of Champaign-Urbana. This is the second presidency role in which John follows in his father’s footsteps. Richard Thies was president of the local Kiwanis Club in 1967. John and Dick also served as president of the Illinois State Bar Association, in 2012-2013 and 1986-87 respectively. The Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette highlighted this father-son presidency duo in the Sunday newspaper on October 17, 2021.
